A Worthy Cause – A Free Trip!

Hello Friends!

There is a ministry that has been truly life-saving to many artists in Nashville.

Porter’s Call is a ministry of counsel and support for recording artists and their families. They offer their services free of charge to those of us who are in a full-time traveling music ministry.

As you may or may not know, the life of a traveling musician is not an easy one. It can take its toll on our bodies, our marriages, our children and our faith. And those who are in full-time ministry often have no one to be completely honest and transparent with.  The pressure can, at times, be overwhelming.

I have personally benefited from the ministry of Porter’s Call and, in the words of Steven Curtis Chapman, “the work of Porter’s Call has been vital to our community of artists who desire to glorify God with their lives as well as their art.”  For more info on the ministry, visit http://www.porterscall.com/.

My friends at Porter’s Call are having an online auction, and I would like to invite you to bid on my item!  I am offering a paid trip for 2 to a concert, along with a private meet-n-greet/dinner opportunity.  Not only will this help keep the ministry of Porter’s Call thriving, but it will also give me a chance to hang out with you!

The auction is live NOW and runs until Saturday, September 18. To view my item, simply click here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300466728321&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123.

Much Love,

Natalie

Olá a todos! Olá a você Natalie Grant!

I wish I could win your item!! But I can’t even top the bid of $611 since I’m only a 14 yr old girl. And my parents aren’t rich. I have been dreaming of going to a concert of yours Natalie and meeting you for years!! (at least 4 or 5yrs if not more…) If my dreams ever come true, that would be SO amazing. More than almost anything I want to talk to you Natalie!!

    Luv,
    Louise

P.S. thank you for all the amazing lyrics your songs have helped me through very hard times.

Hey Natalie! This Porters Call organization sounds amazing. I’m glad to hear that there is something like this to aid our friends in the music ministry! I’m studying to be a counselor someday-so this makes me even more excited.
Love your music. I’ve sang/performed your music many times in church retreats and with the band I was in for 8 years. I’m sure you hear it often, but your ministry has had the ripple effect.
When I attended a vocal seminar once, the leader said to pick an artist that you want to be able to sing like-and I picked you. Your range is fantastic and you do it all with honor. Keep it up girl!
I’ll be at Women of Faith Tampa-not sure if you’re in that slot, but I HOPE! Blessings Natalie…

Also if you can ever come to Calgary AB Canada I would defiantly come to your concert!!

    Your loyal fan,

    Natalie…
I’m sorry that this really has nothing to do with your post, but I just wanted to share something that happened in our house last night in regards to my 5-year old daughter. I’ve copied my morning facebook status below:

During a random, rarley-occuring, channel-surfing moment last night, Emily and I stumbled across Natalie Grant’s music video “In Better Hands”. Emily (who was avoiding bedtime) really took it in and started asking lots of questions. One thing led to another, and I would say with confidence this morning that my little girl has her name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life! ♥

Thanks for obeying Jesus, faithfully! Your ministry just had a special impact on our home and for the Kingdom! Blessings…

Thanks for letting us all know about this organization…I just want to tell you thank you for being vulnerable in your music ..not afraid to address the doubt, anger, and joy that is woven throughout this up and down journey. And thank you more than anything for demonstrating that in your everyday life. It means nothing to hear beautiful, soul changing lyrics if the life behind them is not one that is real and transparent. So thank you…on so many levels for what you are doing for Jesus.

Kelly Ashlock that’s so amazing. I hope your daughter gets strong in her faith, if there’s one thing that I would say as advice to others it would be that they get strong in what they believe in and don’t let this world shake their faith.

I don’t know if anyone else has felt as I do, but most of the time I have so many questions. Some about life in general, some about faith, some about very personal matters. But through all of it the one thing I try to cling to is God and His promises. Having those things in my life make me want to live my life out. I think I would not be here if there wasn’t a God. I’m living proof of His mercy. He saved me from stepping out into the street and killing myself. He led me into a better life.

    THANK YOU GOD!!!

ROCK ON ALL OF YOU CHRISTIANS!

Okay, I know I have left a lot messages but I have something else to add.

I have been thinking about becoming a missionary for a while. But now I’m not so sure. So I would like to ask if you guys could pray for me.

    Thanks,
    Louise

@Angelgirl: everything will work out. maybe God has bigger & better plans for you right where you are. i will pray that God’s will be done. He already knows what his plans are for you, but maybe you have not discovered yet. i am prayin for ya. keep us posted!

@Kelly Ashlock: that is AWESOME! it makes my heart so happy when young kids live for Christ!

  • Angelgirl

@his_beloved_princess: Thank you for your message. I lately have been feeling far from God but I still pray to Him. Your prays are very appreciated. I felt sort of weird asking people I don’t even know to pray for me… I haven’t really have anyone prayed for me before. Normally I’m the one praying for everyone else…..

I promise to kept you guys posted as much as possible.

Thanks again and may God bless you!!
