Loved having @LauraBCooksey on the road w/me today. Made the 7hr bus trip seem short. We talked the entire way & it's been delightful! :)

31 Days Of Freedom

If you follow me on Twitter, you have seen me tweet or retweet something about the Home Foundation’s 31 Days Of Freedom campaign. What a huge success! We accomplished what we set out to, which was to use social networking to bring awareness and education to the reality that slavery still exists; not just around the world, but across the street. Thanks to the following, we reached nearly 1 million people. So I wanted to give a shout-out to all of my artist and author friends who are living out their own Love revolution.

    My name is Rae, my church started an orginiztion call withoutpermission. Still in the baby stages, but is moving along quickly. We’ve been able to go into our first school, our Pastor was able to speak to over 100 high school students. Were in the jails once a month. I’m the director of Intercessory Prayer over withoutpermission. Also have a foster care director, a police women director of law inforcment training and a director over Juvenile Justice. We are doing prayer walks once every other month on 9th st where the prostitutes work. Getting ready to do an out reach down there in a few months. Were raising awarness through someone riding in the furnace creek raise riding over 500 miles on a bike. Raising the money for withoutpermission, were using it for law inforcment training on Human trafficking. Lots going on. Bless all your doing and we hope to do the same.
