I. Hate. Working. Out.

I knew I was going on tour with Jeremy Camp. I didn’t know I’d be joining his boot camp! Ok, it’s not really boot camp, but dude is serious about staying in shape on the road. And it’s actually kind-of inspiring. But i had no idea what i was getting myself into. i survived day 1. I even made it to day 2. can i make the whole 9 weeks of the tour???

Do you work out? Love it? Hate it?

Hoping to be healthier….

xo,
natalie

P.S. i do think it’s funny that Jeremy bought his workout from an infomercial. but hey, it works……

P90X is hard, but amazing. My husband and I did it together for the 90 days…and are about to start it up again. Too bad we can’t drop in for a workout session with you all. It is definitely better doing it with a friend/partner…especially with a little fun competition involved! ;) Thanks for all that you do…you all were amazing in Baltimore!!!

Hey girl..I am one of those people that say, I will begin exercising..tomorrow. But as you can guess tomorrow NEVER comes.

Just to let you know..you werent an unshowered mess!

I enjoyed this blog..love seeing bits of yalls lives. I have heard some stories about P90X and might give it a try. Not sure how long I will last :)

Natalie, I feel your pain! I once told a friend of mine that if you told me that hell was a place where you worked out constantly for eternity, I would definitely get saved. Good job though! You can do it!

  • Brittany says:

ohmygoodness, Natalie. that looks so hard. i don’t do anything as hard as that. one hour of hip-hop every day is all you need, lol.

    God Bless

  • ashley says:

o my goodness, i understand why you don’t like working out! my dad made me try that p90x thing and it was so hard! haha, now i’m back to just running and a little strength stuff:) But its a really good program and you should keep up the good work…you and jeremy encouraged me to think about trying it again!

  • Emily says:

I like jogging and yoga type stuff but lifting weights and intense running…well, no such thing as perfect people. :)

  • Missy says:

I love working out but haven’t gotten to since my leg injury in May then a severe back injury in June. Have fun with his workout and you will start to feel great soon!

  • Autumn says:

I also hate working out. I do it about once a week, if I’m lucky. Also a full time out of the home working mom, so I like to use the excuse that I don’t have time! One of these days maybe! :)

  • Catherine says:

lol……..i sorta like working out…but not 2 much!!!!!!!!

  • Dina says:

Love it! That was great Natalie! I had been seeing your tweets about this “adventure”. Keep it up girl!

My friend’s have been doing that same workout for about a month now and have both lost SO much weight! In fact, one of them lost 15 lbs the first week 1/2! Keep it up and you’ll look fabulous…not that you already don’t! ;)

  • Jeremy may have bought it from an infomercial, but P90X works!

As a Beachbody Coach, P90X is called an Extreme Home Workout for a reason! I help people with their P90X workouts and many other Beachbody workouts like Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs. Just make sure to keep eating and/or following the diet of P90X to keep your body fueled and you from burning out!

  • Jacqui says:

Wow that sounds really NOT fun haha!
I hate working out too, hence I don’t do it. It feels like torture and tends to bring about negative thinking for me. :(
But I like rollerblading, ice skating or indoor rock climbing…and I don’t mind walking instead of driving if I’m going somewhere (as long as the weather isn’t bad!)

  • lindsey says:

haha that is awesome!! I need to work out but i did all my working out a kid!! With gymnastics and cheerleading thats all i did was work out!

  • Lisa says:

The husband and I are trying this today! It looks crazy!

  • Mandy says:

omg! LOL! that is just… wow.
i could like never even attempt that! hope you survive! i know you will! haha!

  • Leah says:

    Hey Natalie!

I saw you at EWomen in Roanoke VA and thank you so much of stopping by! Your concert was a great start to an incredible weekend. Good luck on the workouts. Jeremy looks like a tough “act” to follow, but if anyone can do it YOU can!

  • Miranda says:

Congrats for trying it out! I have heard P90X is definitely XTREME!! That’s awesome that you worked out with Jeremy! He looks hard core when it comes to working out. Good luck with the rest of the tour!! LoL! I may have to give it a try myself.
As mothers we have our own workout. Unfortunately it doesn’t keep us as fit as we would like.

  • Susie says:

Wow! You have my admiration for even attempting that kind of workout! Good luck with getting/keeping fit on tour, and surviving Jeremy Camp’s workouts! I should work out more, but…well…um, yeah. Texas heat makes outdoors workouts unfeasible for a weather wuss like me, and I need to force myself to do my indoors workout…um, yeah. All that to say GOOD JOB NATALIE!!!

  • Soni Henry says:

Awesome!!! I don’t “work out” but am walking and trying to be more healthy! thanks for sharing… Keep up the good work.

    p.s. I LOVE your music!

  • Dakotah says:

I hate working out 2 but I have 2 because I am in Basketball so there-for you have 2 work out!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wya to go Nat! You got the spirit to keep you going and the energy of two beuty queens that keep you going back for more in order to keep up with them. Lol!
    Love you music!!!

Jeremy is hard core when it comes to working out! I’m just getting into running. In the beginning I hated it, but now that I’m up to running 3 miles a day (shooting for 6 days a week) I’m finding the days I DON’T go just don’t feel right. I’ve been at it for a little over 3 weeks now. As a mom with 3 girls (10, 13, and 15), and a teacher, it’s tough to fit it in though. I know Jeremy would say I need to add in some strength training, and he’s right, but add one more thing to my schedule?!?! How?
Keep up the good work! It helps to have hard-core folks around encouraging you on. I wonder if I could keep up with that workout?

  • Tanya says:

    haha..love it! Thanks for sharing:)
