Before And After In Houston

so here is a quick peak behind stage before my show in houston last night and then a quick goodbye as soon as the show ends. it was an awesome show. it was also a sauna. i used to think that sweating on stage was rock-n-roll. now i realize it’s just gross. stay tuned. i’ll be giving more sneak peaks in weeks to come.

nothing but love for y’all,

I’ve been in South Korea for the past year (well, just 20 days shy of one year), and I know about heat. The summers here tend to get VERY hot and humid and all you can do is sit inside in the air conditioning. I don’t do so well in heat, so I’m definitely thankful for air conditioning!!

    Hey, Nat…

Glad to hear you kept my people in Houston filled with joy! Makes me homesick. I lived through 48 years of Houston heat and humidity…that, I don’t miss. Ya gotta look at it this way…the humidity keeps your skin hydrated. You might faint from a case of the vapors, but your skin will look young on the way down to the floor!

    Have a great one!

    Love,
    Debbie

    Natalie,
Saw you at Spirit West Coast. I was weeping at the sound of your voice and your worship. You were so much more than I expected and felt you didn’t get the time or the applause you deserved. I hope you felt the love even though I was far away. Hope to see you again in the future. God Bless.

    About babies and airplanes…

I don’t think the eustacian tubes that equalize air pressure between the ears and the throat are fully developed in babies. Therefore, whenever babies go up in a pressurized cabin, the pressure becomes uncomfortable for them. As adults, we can chew gum, yawn, or swallow hard and that makes our ears pop, but it also releases the pressure on the eardrums. Since babies can’t vocalize what is bothering them, it comes across as them being cranky.

If the girls are still taking a bottle, try letting them take it during the flight and the sucking action might help. Or, if they are used to having a pacifier, that could help as well. Nothing helps like Mommy hugs, though. Be sure you pack a bunch of those.

Hey Natalie, I was there!!! You were awesome (as usual), but you’re so right, talk about humidity! As soon as I put my foot out the door, my hair went nuts. Anyway, I had a great time, but I have to say, I was REALLY disappointed that you didn’t do autographs. :( I had something I really wanted to tell you. I walked all around and asked everybody who I thought might know something about autographs (radio people, the pavillion employees, the people working the merch table) but nobody knew anything about it. *tear* God always blesses me, which I am so thankful for, and it never fails that I get to talk to you when I go to your shows. I guess this time it just wasnt in His plan. BUT…I’m going to see you in 3 weeks in Austin, so I’ll talk to you then! I really do have something that I want to tell you before then though. SO…I’m going try everyway I can think of to get a hold of you, but I’m kind of afraid I won’t be able to. :( Well anyways, I love you mucho and I can’t wait to see/talk to you in Austin!!!

Your shows are amazing. It’s awesome to watch you and keep up with your blog. You are a God-send to a lot of people and its unbelieveable how you allow God to use your life to minister to others. Thanks for following the call that He gave you to minister to all of us.

What’s up Natalie? It’s been about 3 and 1/2 years since I’ve seen you. Logan is that old now and I haven’t had a chance to see your babies! I’ve really gotta catch you on the road soon! I need to bring you some candy. What’s the new candy you like? It was good and plenty when I last saw you. I’m still waiting for you to come back to town to get mama’s green beans(the BEST)! I’ll try to catch you out on the road. I’m so glad I knew you before your new found Rock Star mode you’re in now! I’m glad I was a part of your journey! Love ya Sis! Tanya Patterson Tumblin

Natalie, Your new video is great. I love your music. I have a question about the “Worship with Natalie Grant and Friends” project. I listened to it again the other day and would like to incorporate some of the songs in the worship time at my church. I would love to purchase the arrangements(vocals, band and horns). Can you direct me to the correct person to call about this? I know this could be a strecth but I would love to use them.

    Thanks,
    Mike Wilkerson
