So, I saw The Dark Knight. Wow. It was awesome and disturbing. But awesome. But also sad since you were watching the role that possibly led to Heath Ledger’s death. But I totally LOVE Batman Begins and the followup did not dissapoint. I’m sure they’ll do another.
What was the last movie you saw? Let’s hear about it.
Love to all.
Natalie

Hi Natalie! The last two movies I saw were Dark Knight and Mamma Mia. I saw them exactly one week apart. I have to say Dark Knight is one of the best movies I have ever seen! It is very Dark in places but you don’t get to wierded out because Batman is there as a beckon of light. Kind of how God is always there for us when our world seems too dark or sad or stressful to deal with… Mamma Mia was really cute I thought! I have the soundtrack and listen to it a lot. The songs are very happy go lucky!
- Well have a great week!

The last movie I saw-well actually the last TWO that I saw were the Dark Knight. I just adored Heath Ledger and was so looking forward to this coming out, and it seriously broke my heart when he died. He was just brilliant to me. I loved all of his movies and was just fascinated by his ablity to move from role to role and give it ALL he had, unfortunately this was one role he stepped to deeply in. I am sure I will go see it again-there will never be another Batman that compares to this one! IMHO!!
Okay…I am posting another comment to say that now as of Tuesday the last movie that I saw in theaters was Journey to the Center of the Earth…I have one word….AWESOME! For anyone who hasn’t seen it….GO SEE IT! I LOVED IT!

My mom and dad went to see that movie…The Dark Knight…and my mom sadi it was REALLY disturbing! She says that she can see why Heath Ledger was so disturbed after doing it….sad. BUT the last movie I saw in theaters was Kit Kittredge:An American Girl. I LOVED IT! IT was so awesome! Could anyone tell me what Mamma Mia is about?

The last movie I saw was the Hulk and I absolutly loved it
I am a big time Marvel comic reader or should I say I was
and I am so excited to see these characters of my imagination come to life some people say that the movie was too predictive but and may be it was because we read the comics and no that the good guy always prevales but what I noticed at the end was that the guy from Iron man spoke with the General and I think there will be a Superhero movie based on all the heros from marvel comics comeing together “”FOR THE GOOD OF MAN KIND”

I hardly ever go to the movies, but I’m a HUGE old movie fan. The last movie I saw was “Kit Kitridge:An American Girl”. I took my little cousins and they had a blast. Some of my favorites of the last 5 years are “Miracle” which has made me a ice hockey fan(not alot of us here in GA) and “Amazing Grace” which is in my top 5 of all time. If have not seen it yet, rent it, buy it, whatever but this is a must see!
I totally loved “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2″ last night and what an amazing movie. As a 20 something it so spoke to the heart of how we think friendships will just last forever and then they fade without notice. Such a good ending though, and lesson for girls. Great chick flick!
Today I watched a DVD, “Marilyn Hotchkiss Ballroom Dancing and Charm School”. The movie was released in 2005, but it is constructed around a short film with the same name done by the same director in 1990. The “new” film’s main story concerns a man named Frank (Robert Carlysle) who is a widower. Through a chance encounter he finds himself at the dance school of the title. To say any more would spoil it. Just one advisory, there is a problematic scene near the end, but overall I would recommend the film.
Ok not positive what the last movie was. It was either “The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian” or “WALL-E”. well the thing is i don’t remember which 1 came 1st. I saw them both but when I went to see WALL-E it was after church and I was half asleep. Me and some friends went to see Mercy Me when they were at Wild Adventures and we didn’t get home until 2am and we had to get up and get ready for church at 7:00. We didn’t get any sleep in the car either.
The Dark Night – it was great! I feel the same way as you, though, Natalie! It was amazing…but disturbing, because of Heath’s death. I was actually pretty sad after it was over. Poor guy.
AAAHHHH!!!!(that was a scream of joy) i saw it (the dark knight) for the first time last weekend…it was SO. AMAZING. i think it might of just been all the explosions, but i like couldnt say anything at the ending of it. Although, i might of just been overwhelmed, but the ending seemed confusing to me…so is batman bad? is he coming back? WILL GOTHAM CITY EVER BE IN PEACE? these are the questions i had. =)
Thanks for listening!
Have a Good Day!
In theaters: The Dark Knight. Very well done, but I don’t get all this Oscar talk for Ledger. He played the role well, but I’m not sure that it’s Oscar caliber. I was actually a bit unsettled by Batman’s choice at the end of the movie. Anyone else agree? (try not to spoil it for those who haven’t seen it please, just answer yes or no)
On DVD: Ratatouille. Another winner from the geniuses at Pixar. The featurette on the DVD called “Fine Food and Film” is worth watching.
I’m too old for this, I just got finished watching Cinderella 3. It was a really good movie, but the stepmother got on my everliving nerves! It’s my favorite of all the Cinderelllas!
WAll-E.
I left early, it was so boring!!
Nat,
Just a note to thank you for your music. I’ve really been touched by several tracks the last few years as I have struggled with a child on drugs. Two weeks ago tomorrow, my son ended his life. I have to tell you that your song, “I will not be moved” has been central. I also heard Safe on your myspace. can’t really listen to it much yet, but i had “In Better Hands” sung at his funeral. It seemed to fit.
God Bless you in your ministry. I know you touch so many lives.

The Dark Knight was the last movie I saw. Outstanding!!!
a-
The last movie I saw was Mamma Mia! I thought it was fantastic. I am 51 and seeing Meryl Streep doing splits and dancing around the way she did at 58 years old gave me hope.
Okay, I admit it…I love ABBA. This was the music I danced to in college…you know, the whole disco thing? I sang the songs during the movie and it was such fun.
Some of the thematic elements weren’t great…a single woman becoming pregnant and not even knowing who the father was. But the reality is that this happens a lot. I saw it as a strong woman who gave her life to raise her daughter.
I liked the fact that it glorifies the friendship between women. It is so important to me to have other women friends who will love me and give me support. My best friend lives 525 miles away from me, yet I know that I can just say the word and she will be here on the next flight. I am also blessed with a group of friends here in AR who are there for me as well.
I took my daughter to see it and during “Slipping Through My Fingers” she leaned over and put her head on my shoulder. It was one of the most tender moments we’ve shared in a long time.
Take care everyone.
In His Love,
Debbie

Hey! How’s Bella? Hope she’s well. Are YOU ok? Saw your thing on twitter and it looked like you were sick, so i was just seeing how you were doing
by the way…you never blogged about your karaoke experience
hahaaa.
27 dresses was a great movie!=)
How is Bella doing, btw? And are you ok? You’re all still in my prayers!
It’s been awhile for me since we have no sitters….but 27 Dresses was the last movie for me. IT WAS AWESOME!! I even bought it when it came out on DVD and I NEVER buy movies lol. The scene when they are singing together just cracks me up!!
Yeah Hannah lol!!! That’s so cool. I finally know that someone else totally loves Zorro!!! I think that Catherine is gorgeous too! I also love Antonio Banderas. He has the best voice ever!
The last movie I saw was Hancock…That was such a good movie… I did not expect it to end the way that it did. I plan on going to see “The dark night” soon but I want the lines to be a little shorter before I go.
lol Hey Tiffany, The Mask of Zorro and The Legend of Zorro are my two favorite movies of all time!
I think Catherine Zeta Jones is gorgeous:)
The movie I saw last was The Legend Of Zorro. That is totally in my top ten!!! The Mask’s story line is better but overall they are both just as good!
The last movie i saw was the Bee movie with my best friend Savannah for her birthday! It was such a funny and good movie.
The last one I saw was Wanted, and it wasn’t as good as I had hoped. Too much blood for me, and the ending wasn’t as good as it could have been. I was really excited for that movie too…bummer. But i’m totally stoked for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 to come out!!!

i went and saw mammamia last night it was good but it felt like in would never endand the ending of it was not exoected it was good but def. not one of mmy fav.
Hey Natalie!~ I really don’t know where to begin. About three weeks ago, I wrote a blog on our student ministry website. (My husband is the youth pastor) I love blogging and releasing all my thoughts and cares, worries etc. Over the past several years I have begun to be real with not only myself but with who I am in front of others. The night before I posted this particular blog, (its called Becoming…) we had the students split up girls/guys to discuss and talk about the sexual purity bcause our purity ring ceremony was coming up on that following Sunday. I was real with those girls and I shared how losing my virginity hurt deeply but how through God’s grace I was restored and felt pure when I committed my life to my husband. I hear all the time “be real” be real and when I did that I couldn’t believe what happened. My pastor wanted the blog removed, and 3 or 4 other people in our church requested it be removed because of the fear what others may think about me…I was dumbfounded and hurt. I asked several of my very close friends to read it and they saw nothing but transparency… So anyways…I was in the car driving to meet a friend at the coffee shop and on came.. “I cannot be moved” I heard you sing this at the Revolve tour and loved it then, but at that moment I began to just lose it, because I knew that God was speaking directly to me! I am the director of a Beauty Within Seminar at our church and this year after much prayer I have finally given up and said “OK GOD I will speak” Its a masquearade theme, and we have a lot of cool stuff planned. Its like a mini revolve tour. I know that God has called me to speak to teenage girls about the struggles of fighting your reflection in the mirrow and how I so desire to see My reflection as Christ sees me. I have began praying for God to take my desire, my passion and give it wings….there is more..Ok so I sat down YESTERDAY at the computer looking for some cool pre-videos to show and the first song that popped in my head was “I will not be moved” I DROPPED MY MOUTH because their stood a girl with a mask on her face! God is so amazing, and your realness has encouraged so many including myself to let go and allow God to use my weakness, my struggles and my past to set others free! After my blog was removed I was hurt and mad, but had no idea the vision and ideas that God would begin to pour in my head about speaking to girls. Its funny the day after I heard that song, I blogged on it and just posted the lyrics and a few words because it was exactly what I was feeling and the lyrics just pierced my heart!…Please pray for me if you read this and I am also praying for you because I know that self image is a process that we have to overcome daily. (taking our negative thoughts captive!) You are beautiful and you truly are an amazing role model for teenagers and also women:) I am 33 with two beautiful girls, I am married to an amazing man! I am trying to be obedient to God’s calling, but just so scared to step out. I am using your video to open up our Beauty WIthin Seminar in September, and one of my dear friends who is 19 and is overcoming a eating disorder is performing a drama to SAFE. Your lyrics are my heart and I am thankful for your obedience to be real because it has encouraged me to give up on trying to please anyone other than Christ Himself.
My dad rented Saving Sarah Cane for me. I loved it! It ’s a beautiful movie and I cried! I heard that the Dark Night was good.I confess I was shocked to hear about Heath Ledger’s death. I use to have a crush on him! But I’m not into really dark movies, but I’d be willing to see it.
The last movie I saw in the theatre was The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I loved this movie! I hope to be able to buy it once I return to my home in Canada from here in South Korea (only 37 days left!) to go with my The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe!
well…before tonight the last movie i had seen was ‘into the wild’. quite a thought provoking film. depressing, (especially since i rented it and watched it by myself…in attempts for creating a ‘me time’ moment…not such a brilliant idea), but a well made film nonetheless. and the fact that it’s based on a true story made the movie even more powerful. heck, i can’t even camp without complaining, i’d never be able to go ‘into the wild’, so watching a person brave enough to do so was inspiring to say the least.
tonight…i saw dark knight. a ‘dark’ film. i’m convinced my date took me in hopes of creating a scenario where i’d need his masculinity to assuage my fears…much to his dismay, i was more disturbed than frightened. i must admit though…heath ledger did a phenomenal job portraying the character of the joker. i laughed out loud a few times at his comical lines in the film. but more than anything, i was left unhinged by the fact that heath’s death was shortly after this film’s creation. so insane. i’m a big fan of maggie gyllenhaal…she seems like the type of girl who is consistent in all that she does. but hey, i get my info from E! and People, so it might just be wishful thinking based on embellished or falsified info.
hope life on the road is treating you well natalie!
I barely go to the movies I really don’t have the time, but my cousin is telling me about it and wants to take me tomorrow night to see “The Dark Knight”. The last movie I saw was “Enchanted”.
The last movie I saw was Hancock. It was AMAZING. No joke…amazing. It has the “A” word in it alot and a few more words, but that was really the only thing wrong with the movie. but other than that….it was awesome!
I don’t even remeber the last movie I saw, that’s how long ago it was. (lol) I can’t wait to see the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, though.
s
The last movie I saw in theaters was Kung Fu Panda and that I must say was a Funny movie!
I went and saw MammaMia instead of Dark Knight. I adored Heath Ledger and just cant bring myself to see his last movie. MammaMia ROCKED. Oh! It was so good!!!
p.s. I’m coming to see you next Friday in Houston! Can.not.wait!!
I rented American Gangster Sunday night. It was a great movie! Very violent at parts but that what gangster movie isn’t. I don’t think it was as bad as Scarface. Anyway….hoping to see Dark Knight this weekend or next week while I am on vacation! I also loved Batman begins.
The last movie i went to see was….i acctually cant remember oh yeah it was at the drive in yeah i know drive in well here in mn there are only 2 of them so for my 16th birthday my cousin took me to the drive in with 2 friends we didnt get home until about 3 or 4 in the morning lol and my birthday was that day…. haha well any ways the 3 movies we saw were handcock the hulk and get smart i loved loved loved handcock but i could have gone without seeing the hulk and i didnt really get to see get smart all of us were to tired so we decided to go home early! but yes that was amazing fun but what wasnt fun is when this storm hit and the tornado sirence started to go off it was so much like twister funny! but the screen was huge and when the storm was over it was still lightning out so it looked soooooo cool behind the screen it was amazing! Well yes you asked me a questioned where i could tell a story i love it when people do that i love to tell storys! and also i finished this binder i want to give you! but i hope to give that when i see you in concert in iowa but i dought it lol i really want to meet you and i hope one day i will! yeah binder =]
I watched Nouvelle France (on Tv) a few days ago- It was soooooooooooooooo sad!! Really beautiful too, though, it’s probably one of my favourites now!
And I watched the Bucket List last night. That was sad too.
The last movie I saw in theaters was Baby Mama…I know…I haven’t been to the movies in a long time. But I have to say..I absolutely LOVE that movie. It’s one of the best ones I’ve ever seen.
It was completely amazing!
But one that I can’t stop watching here at home is 27 Dresses. That movie is so amazing and hilarious. But it makes me sad when I watch it..only because it reminds me of one of my friends that I haven’t seen in over a year…but it’s by far a wonderful movie. You should all watch it if you haven’t already.
I went and saw Mama Mia last night with my Mom (she picked the movie)…I was entertained, but it’s not in my top 100 movies of all time! The ending was not expected, and there were ALOT of cheezie moments, and the sheer fact that Pierce Brosnan, the hott English 007, James Bond himself, was singing cheesie love songs and the outfit he wore in the music video made me concerned. There’s a music video at the end and all I could do in reaction was shake my head, like when you see the guy audition for American Idol wearing the pimp hat and huge fur coat, you know the guy.
So after that, I must redeem myself…I’m taking my husband to see the Dark Knight on Saturday night…shh, he doesn’t know yet!
