When looking for a winner of inspirational artist of the year that artist must be one who inspires right! My story must be heard!!

In the last 2 1/2 years I have had 3 brain surgeries! Yes 3, for 2 different neurological conditions, Arnold Chiari and epilepsy.

The last 2 took place on March 28th and March 31st 2008. Music has a way of reminding us of the promises God has made. Sometimes at just the right moment. Songs have a way of bringing to us those promises again and again.

In Better Hands did that for me in a way that helped me hold to Gods promise that He would not leave my side, that He was the one holding me up when I could no longer stand on my own. It brought to my mind the very word of God, the promises He made to me, and the words He spoke. What more inspiration do we need then that. Not all music does this, Natalies did. I thank God for the gift He gave to her, and I thank her for being willing to share that gift through her music.

It matters not what the outcome of lasts nights awards were, for the rewards God has promised us are far greater then that which any man can bestow upon another. As you continue to do that which the Lord has asked of you He rewards you with the promises He has made. We can not fathom the riches of His glory in our human mind or understand the vastness of the rewards in our human perspective. But He has promised we will be with Him one day, and that, though so undeserved, is reward enough for me.
